Rome - Yamaha introduces Tricity 125 Police, late last month. As the name implies, this motor scooter based on their tricycle, Tricity 125.
The difference from the standard version, as described on their official website, yamaha-motor, is Tricity 125 Police equipped with a variety of enhancements that allow police store their equipment.
Enhancements included the rear box 39L Top Case, LED signal lamp with a choice of flash, a pair of front blue light, siren five tones, the electronic control unit, the control board, and loudspeakers.
In addition, the motor can also be further customized on request. For example, color striping adapted to the typical police in the country concerned. Of course, there is an extra charge for it.
Yamaha Tricity 125 itself carrying 125 cc 4 stroke engine with injection system. This machine, with the help of the two large front wheels, claimed to be able to cope with any traffic situation making it suitable as a patrol vehicle.
Yamaha did not provide any further information which countries are already booked. However, when seen from the photo above, it appears that the Italian police are on the front row (Writing `Polizia` is Italian police).
